One of the most popular activities at the Heritage Museum of Layton is the monthly themed scavenger hunt. On the first weekday of every month, a new scavenger hunt is unveiled. Painted rocks have hidden in various displays around the museum. Interested visitors, young and old alike, may pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the front desk and cross off the rocks as they find them. Staff and volunteers may give clues if guests are unable to find a rock, (sometimes rocks can be sneaky and hide in the strangest places…). Guests can bring their paper to the front desk for a prize.
