In an effort to manage the limited water supply for 2021, Layton City has implemented the following drought restrictions for all outdoor water use in Layton City:

• NO MORE THAN TWO WATERINGS* PER WEEK.
• NO OUTDOOR WATERING BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10 A.M. AND 6 P.M.
• DELAY INSTALLATION OF NEW LANDSCAPE PROJECTS.

* 1 Watering equals 20 minutes of overhead spray (Pop-up Sprinklers) or 40 minutes of rotor-type heads.

The current outdoor irrigation season is planned to end earlier than scheduled.  If outdoor watering continues at the current pace, the result will be an even earlier termination to the irrigation season.
